CyBelle's Front Room has the largest vegan menu of any restaurant in San Francisco. Their plant-based pizzas and mozzarella sticks are perfection. And they have the best beignets anywhere.
The service is always great here. I love how the staff are attentive. My husband and I like to drop in once or twice a month for some vegan treats and sometimes a pitcher of beer.
Ordered the Vegan Golden Dragon Pizza last night for delivery from CyBelle's Front Room -- COWABUNGA! Menu description: "Vegan golden Dragon Pizza: Smokey, Ranchy, a Bestseller Vegan BBQ Sauce, housemade cashew smoked gouda, soy chicken, garlic potato wedges, green onion, House Vegan Ranch *Can be made Gluten Free using Gluten Free crust" Current standard costs: 6" for $18.50, 12" for $32, 14" for $34, 16" for $39 and 18" for $43. Additional toppings ranging from faux meats to lots of veggies are available if you want to max out your slice weight and get in some heavy lifting ;-) After some internal debate whether to add toppings for my first try of this famed pizza or go with the pure Golden, I decided to go for added jalapeño and pineapple, inspired by the ravings of fellow Yelper, Victoria H., who wrote "The golden dragon is one of my absolute favorites and I always add jalapeño and pineapple." I can't compare what I got to the straight-up version (yet), but DANG. That is one super tasty pizza! The jalapeño added some zing and heat, and the pineapple brings more sweetness and tang to the BBQ sauce. Victoria, great tip! The 12" came cut into 6 hefty slices. I managed to eat 2 for a very filling dinner, and am enjoying the rest for lunch and dinner today ;-) Delivery is offered by the restaurant directly, which is how I got it, and despite its estimate last night of 1 hour to deliver (5:44-6:44pm), it blazed in via delivery guy at just 6:12pm, from the Inner Sunset over to me in Duboce Triangle. NICE. The pizza came with little containers of red chili flakes, and nutritional yeast for that added vegan cheesiness. Cybelle's direct delivery was included (and possible) once you spend $25 and live within a 3-mile radius -- and tipping your delivery driver is encouraged from 15%, 18% to 20% or other, when placing your order. You are also welcome to pick up your order in person :-) Pick-ups need to be called in, and you are also welcome to call in for your delivery order, per their website blurb: "ALL PICKUP ORDERS must be placed by calling us at 415-665-8088. Delivery orders may also be placed by calling us. Ordering on our website and through our app is for Delivery only, up to a specific 3-mile radius from our location in San Francisco. Thank you!" Other delivery options that I can see, with the pizzas costing more (6" costs $21.79 rather than the $18.50 on CyBelle's linked service through Qooway) + extra service fees, but of course: * GrubHub * Uber Eats * Caviar -- Strangely listed here as Closed / Unavailable even when they are actually open. * DoorDash -- They are listed 2x, one without an apostrophe and no DashPass (this one works), and one with an apostrophe, actual CyBelle logo and added DashPass (this is also listed as closed even when they are open). Happy to order directly anyway = Probably more money and less overhead so CyBelle's can keep cranking out their great food and keeping SF vegans and omnivores happy for years to come! :-) Techie Tip: They have an app for that too, on Google Play or Apple's App Store. Peace ~ and Pizza ~ out.
Vegan review: This is my second time trying Cybelles but the first time visiting the location (prior to this I had food delivered). The ambiance is like a homey pizza shop (: The first time, I got the mac n cheese pizza because I've never had an option to have something as crazy as this since going vegan and WOW it was delicious! It was perfect sprinkled with red pepper flakes. We also got the Buffalo wings and the texture was definitely a little off from normal chicken but still very very yummy. I also tried the carbonara which was fine but I wouldn't get it again. The pork sandwich was quite delicious. My favorite dessert is the special cookie butter beignets. They are so warm and delicious with the icing. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE CHEESY GARLIC KNOTS. I'm dreaming of them still. The garlic bread is different from the garlic knots- the knots are better. Just trust me on this. The service is ALWAYS incredible. Please go support this family owned shop!
If you're looking to try a unique pizza parlor, I highly recommend CyBelles. I am a ranch girlyyy dipper and the pizza we got (Pacific Heights) has ranch sauce as its base sauce!!! It's honestly one of the best pizza I've ever had! It had the perfect amount of toppings, sauce and cheese. The crust was nice and toasty as well! The calamari was good but I think it could've been better. It was lacking in seasoning (). I will definitely just come back for the pizza alone :)
Innovative Vegan restaurant not afraid to push the limits. I'm not a vegan but enjoyed their creative flavorful dishes. I had a fried "chicken" sando that was topped with Marinara pasta and it was delicious. I also order a combination pizza to take home and it was great
Especially like the interior decoration of this restaurant. Service is great. I ordered a cheese pizza. It was crispy. But it's totally different from what I had in New York. Not sure if this is because of different New York pizzas or it is just the change this restaurant made to fit San Francisco.
Absolutely LOVE this place. The food is bomb, the staff is bomb, and the music is bomb! It's amazing that they have a whole vegan menu and ensure there is no contamination with the non-vegan food in their kitchen. We tried the vegan breadsticks which made for a good appetizer especially with the ranch. The vegan Mac calzone was huge and was at least 2 meals. And the hot mess express truly was a mess but full of flavor. Will definitely be going back many many times!
Nice little pizza spot in the Inner Sunset. There's a few in the area but this one has a slightly nicer interior. Great place to hit up after kids sports games. I remember coming here to celebrate after playing a game or after practice growing up. Can't go wrong with pizza and kids. Now my 2 year old LOVES pizza! Sometimes he will wake up and cry PiZzAaAa! Lol!! I've gotten pizza for him and the fam here a couple times. My personal favorite is the BBQ Chicken Pizza but little kids are pretty simple and my son loved the Cheese pizza more. The crust here is also really good. I liked it both times. They also sell slices here I believe but kinda pricey in my opinion for a large slice so I usually go for a whole pie instead. You can also order online to pick up or call - either way the pizza is ready in no time and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Overall really like this place and would recommend.
I have been waiting to come here, specifically for their triathlon pizza! We came here with a group 6 on a Thursday night and got seated immediately, with good service all around. This is a good spot for groups of vegans / omnivores - everyone was happy! They have a large selection of both! It feels good to go to a restaurant that offers more than a couple vegan options. If you want pizza, pasta and or dessert this is the spot! I will say, I was very excited about the triathlon pizza and unfortunately they didn't really nail the mac'n cheese. I definitely recommend this place and would love to come back and try more of their vegan options!
